Right Care Initiative Pilot Leads to 2,735 fewer hospitalizations; Could Save CA over $100 Million Annually

The Right Care Initiative has been associated with 2,735 fewer hospitalizations for heart attacks in San Diego County from 2011 to 2014. If the same 16.5% reduction of hospitalizations were achieved throughout the rest of California, there would have been approximately 5,000 fewer hospitalizations for heart attacks each year, saving over $100 million in annual payments to hospitals.
