This project seeks to measure the range of patients’ perceptions of integrated care in a national sample using the Patient Perceptions of Integrated Care (PPIC) survey, a 62 item survey now in its second revision (version 2.0) that comprehensively measures integration of patient care among individuals with multiple chronic conditions for whom integrated care is critically important. The purpose of the present study is to (1) measure variation in patients’ perceptions of integrated patient care in a stratified random national sample and assess relationships among dimensions of integration, and (2) explore organizational characteristics related to integrated patient care and identify those that distinguish physician organizations perceived by patients as more integrated.
