The Impact of Telehealth Implementation During the Pandemic on Quality of Hypertension And/or Diabetes Care

Grantee Organization: Dartmouth College’s Center of Excellence - Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) Grant

The COVID-19 pandemic initially accelerated primary care practice adoption of telehealth for chronic care management, but after the first peak of the pandemic, telehealth use has waned. Dr. Rodriguez and the CHAMP team are working with the American Medical Group Association (AMGA), to analyze the impact of telehealth implementation during the pandemic on quality of hypertension and/or diabetes care. The project will also identify the primary care practice capabilities associated with accelerated uptake and sustainability of telehealth for these clinically vulnerable populations.
